Voertuig Software Engineer

This organization is active in the manufacturing industry and focuses on the development of embedded control systems and mechatronic solutions for vehicle applications. The team works closely with electrical engineers, system designers, and test engineers to validate complex systems and bring them into production.

• Develop, test, and integrate embedded vehicle software
• Implement C++ modules and algorithms for real-time vehicle control and perception
• Design and optimize vehicle interfaces and signal processing
• Conduct unit, subsystem, integration, and system testing
• Set up new applications and configure systems for autonomous vehicle development
• Maintain clear documentation and mentor junior team members
• Work on AGV/AMR platforms, motion control, and sensor fusion

• Completed education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science at a minimum HBO level
• 3+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development and vehicle systems
• Proven experience with C++ in real-time and embedded environments
• Experience with system integration, interfaces, and establishing test suites for unit and integration testing
• Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
• Analytical problem-solving skills and experience with system-level debugging
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
