We’re seeking a talented and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our client’s team, which builds wellness plan financing solutions for veterinary clinics. As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll work on the client’s web platform while providing technical leadership for the engineering team.

• Lead a small cross-functional engineering team while remaining hands-on in day-to-day development
• Design, build, and maintain backend and frontend features of the core platform
• Own features end-to-end: requirements clarification, technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Participate in and drive architectural decisions, continuously improving performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate directly with U.S.-based engineers, product managers, and leadership as a technical point of contact
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship
• Ensure delivery of clean, maintainable, well-tested code and healthy engineering practices

Вимоги9

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leading engineers or small teams
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments
• Strong proficiency with the tech stack: ReactJS, NodeJS, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• Proven ability to design, code, and test scalable full-stack web applications, from database to UI
• Experience owning technical decisions and leading architectural discussions (systems design, performance, scalability, UX)
• Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise overall code quality
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated team player who takes initiative, drives execution, and balances hands-on development with team leadership
• Advanced English (daily communication with U.S.-based stakeholders)
