Payset, a UK-based online international payments solution authorized by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), offers multi-currency accounts and currency exchange to businesses worldwide. We seek a dynamic, experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

• Develop and ship user-facing features with TypeScript and Node.js, delivering clean, maintainable code that follows modern component patterns and accessibility guidelines.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, defining clear data contracts and error-handling conventions that keep the UX seamless.
• Develop and maintain services using Node.js and other modern frameworks.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Build and own microservices and REST APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Implement and optimize REST API Gateway, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies to enhance application performance and scalability within the AWS environment.
• Utilize Docker for containerization to ensure scalability and reliability of backend services.
