Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Relativity Space is building rockets and seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop backend software infrastructure for their Stargate additive manufacturing platform. The role involves developing user-facing applications, APIs, frontend interfaces, and collaborating with robotics and data teams.

• develop user-facing applications, APIs, and Create/Read/Update/Delete services that expose data platform capabilities to end users
• Create backend services that integrate with data architectures and enable data consumption
• Develop frontend interfaces for data visualization, analytics, and platform management
• Deploy and maintain software in both edge and cloud environments
• Collaborate with robotics software engineers to integrate your software with the robotic operating system
• Contribute to internal tooling that improves developer productivity and system observability

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience developing and shipping production-quality software with real-world operational constraints
• Proficient in whatever languages and tools you love most, and willing to learn new ones
• Ability to independently identify, scope, design, and execute software projects
• Understanding of databases, pipelines, and platforms, and how to write software that interacts with them
• Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders
• Experience developing software for robotics or additive manufacturing applications (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) (nice to have)
• Prior experience in a small company or startup where you owned software end-to-end (nice to have)
