Senior Full Stack Engineer

CVS Health is building a world of health around every individual. We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack C#/.NET Developer to join our development team, focusing on full lifecycle development and deployment of scalable web applications using modern Microsoft technologies.

• Full lifecycle development with an emphasis on deployment of scalable web applications using modern Microsoft technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value

• 5+ years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
• 5+ years of experience in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework Core
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server and relational database design
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• 3+ years of experience with Git and DevOps practices
• 3+ years of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles experience
• Must be able to work east coast business hours
• Understanding and implementing robust security features, including encryption (both at rest and in transit), authentication, authorization, and secure communication protocols
• Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of techniques to improve application performance and efficiency, such as fixing memory leaks and optimizing the garbage collector
• Strong debugging and testing skills
• Adherence to regulations like HIPAA in the US and GDPR in Europe
• Healthcare experience
• Deep understanding of best practices for protecting sensitive patient data, implementing access controls, conducting regular security audits, and establishing backup and recovery plans
• Master’s degree
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
