Application Developer

Digital Application Developer roles at Rathbones, building customer-facing digital products across web and mobile. Seeking strong software engineers with experience in React/TypeScript, iOS/Swift, or Android/Kotlin, particularly those who have built greenfield applications from scratch.

• Built greenfield applications/products from scratch
• Developed customer-facing web applications, portals or mobile apps
• Strong hands-on experience with React / TypeScript, iOS/Swift/SwiftUI or Android/Kotlin
• Experience building and integrating APIs and application services
• Strong software engineering fundamentals around testing, CI/CD, architecture and secure development
• Experience working closely with Product, UX/UI, Architecture and Data teams
• Ideally, experience within Financial Services, FinTech or another regulated environment
• Exposure to AI coding/development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Cursor is a bonus
