Full Stack Engineer

Newcastle United is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and maintain internal analytics tools for scouts, analysts, coaches and football operations staff. The role involves developing web applications across the full stack, working with backend services, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure within the Data & Insights team.

• Design, build and maintain internal web applications across the full technology stack.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using modern technologies and best practices.
• Build clear, data-rich interfaces, dashboards and visualisations that support decision-making.
• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and application performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, designers and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of the platform.
