Software Engineer Intern

Jobright is an AI job search agent. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will build and ship software used by real job seekers, working on frontend and backend systems in Santa Clara.

• Build and improve reliable product features across frontend and backend systems
• Design APIs, services, and data models that support AI-powered job search
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Debug production issues and improve system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams in an in-person environment

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or C++
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA
• Experience building web applications, APIs, or distributed systems
• Familiarity with React, Node.js, SQL, or cloud platforms
• Interest in AI, LLMs, recommendation systems, or developer tools
• Previous internship, research, or significant personal project experience
