Software Engineer

Tabs is an AI-native revenue platform for finance and accounting teams, automating contract-to-cash workflows. This role spans engineering teams, working on backend services, product surfaces, data pipelines, and integrations.

• Core backend services and APIs powering billing, payments, and revenue workflows
• Product surfaces that finance teams touch daily
• Data models and pipelines that hold up as transaction volume scales
• Integrations that keep Tabs in sync with the systems our customers already use (ERPs, CRMs, and more)
• Interfaces and tools that make complex accounting concepts simple for users
• Internal systems that improve reliability, observability, and performance

• Professional software engineering experience shipping production code (roughly 2–4 years)
• Experience building web applications or backend services that real users depended on
• Comfort with a modern backend language/framework and a modern frontend framework (React or similar)
• Experience working with APIs and relational databases
• TypeScript proficiency is a must
• Bonus: side projects, open source, or things you built and maintained outside of a day job
