VistaCreate, part of the Vistaprint group, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable, reliable backend services for millions of users. This role involves designing architecture, maintaining RESTful APIs, and collaborating with various teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Work with MongoDB and optimize database performance
• Design and improve microservice architecture
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of backend systems
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience with MongoDB (data modeling, performance optimization)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ)
• Experience with monitoring/logging systems (Grafana, Sentry)
• Experience with high-load systems
• Intermediate+ English (written and spoken)
• Nice to Have: Experience with Go
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience working in product companies
• Knowledge of security best practices
