Senior AQA Engineer (Python)

Grid Dynamics is hiring a Senior AQA Engineer (Python) to join their engineering team and work on a large-scale technology project in the animal health and monitoring domain. The role involves building and maintaining automation for web and backend systems, working with developers and QA engineers to improve quality through robust test automation.

• Design and implement automated tests for web applications, APIs, backend services, and databases
• Develop and maintain E2E automation using Python and Selenium
• Build and improve automation frameworks, test utilities, and internal QA tools
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between different services
• Work with SQL databases to verify backend data and system behavior
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to improve test coverage and automation stability
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within the development and CI/CD lifecycle
• Analyze test failures, logs, and system behavior to identify potential issues
• Use AI tools in your day-to-day QA work to improve productivity, test development, debugging, analysis, and other engineering activities

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / Test Automation
• Strong Python experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Selenium experience
• Solid experience with API testing and REST APIs
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar automation frameworks
• Practical experience using AI tools in everyday engineering/QA work
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST, HTML, JavaScript, and web technologies
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• English B2
• Linux and Bash/Shell scripting
• CI/CD experience - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Cloud experience - AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Docker / containerized environments
• Datadog, Logz.io, Tableau, or similar monitoring/visualization tools
• Mobile automation with Appium
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks
• Experience building AI agents for QA or test automation
• Experience integrating LLMs with CI/CD pipelines to analyze test results, generate reports, or suggest fixes
• Experience using AI for screenshot, accessibility tree, or log analysis
• Experience with AI APIs/platforms such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, or similar
