UI Engineer

Taxbit is seeking a UI Engineer to build modern solutions for FinTech problems, focusing on front-end architecture, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns. The role partners with designers and product managers to deliver world-class user experiences.

• Build modern solutions to complex problems that are elegant and efficient.
• Partner with designers and product managers to solve the right problems for customers.
• Write well-designed, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, distribute knowledge, and help team velocity
• Own solving problems end to end across a variety of systems and services in close collaboration with other engineers at Taxbit

• 3+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and services
• Experience building polished, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end architecture, user interfaces, and customer-facing product experiences
• Strong background working with design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns
• Deep familiarity with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React and related front-end frameworks/libraries
• Comfortable operating in product engineering environments where UI quality, reusable patterns, and front-end craftsmanship are important
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities to build, test, and scale AI-powered solutions
• Strong coding skills in Typescript NodeJS/React and/or Python
• Experience with a variety of cloud storage solutions (SQL, Blob, Document, Search)
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, DataDog, and GitHub CI/CD
