Product Engineer

A profitable, venture-backed career technology platform is hiring multiple Product Engineers to build and scale core platform capabilities and user-facing product experiences. The role requires strong technical execution, product thinking, and comfort operating in ambiguous startup-style environments.

• Build and maintain modern full-stack applications using React and Next.js
• Develop backend systems and APIs in Go and Python
• Integrate AI services including OpenAI and Claude into product workflows
• Build semantic search and recommendation capabilities
• Improve scalability, reliability, and platform performance
• Work with distributed systems infrastructure including OpenSearch, Kafka, AWS, and Jenkins
• Collaborate directly with engineering, design, and leadership teams
• Own projects from ideation through deployment and iteration

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack engineering background
• Deep experience with React and Next.js
• Backend expertise in Go and/or Python
• Experience integrating AI APIs and building AI-powered product features
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI workflow orchestration
• Experience with semantic search, recommendation systems, or search infrastructure
• Strong ownership mentality and product instincts
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Ability to independently drive execution with minimal oversight
