Full Stack Engineer

Kairo is a specialized AI red teaming firm focused on identifying and resolving vulnerabilities in AI models. We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain web applications for red teaming operations, including front-end interfaces, back-end services, and APIs. The role involves working with AI researchers and security specialists to turn technical requirements into features, with design ownership.

• Design and implement front-end interfaces, build back-end services and APIs, and integrate data pipelines and AI tooling into secure, scalable systems
• Work directly with AI researchers and security specialists to turn technical requirements into reliable features
• Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and hold a high bar for secure coding practices
• Shape how complex security findings get presented — information hierarchy, interaction patterns, and the visual language of the product

• Strong full-stack experience building and shipping production web applications
• Back-end depth: server-side frameworks, API design, and relational database modeling
• Front-end skill with modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS
• A design sensibility — you can take a rough problem to a clean, usable interface, and you care how the result looks and feels. Comfort in Figma (or similar) is a plus; a portfolio or shipped work you can point to is better
• Solid grounding in secure coding, application security, and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and DevOps tooling for deployment and monitoring
• Clear technical communication and the ability to work across a cross-functional team
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Interest or experience in AI, ML, or security-focused engineering is a strong plus
