Senior IT Recruiter

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior IT Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team, responsible for spotting and attracting engineering talent throughout Latin America. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers, crafting creative sourcing methods, and contributing to hiring decisions for technical roles.

• Lead the full recruitment cycle for technical roles across Latin America, from the opening conversation with a hiring manager and market research all the way through to the accepted offer
• Adopt a proactive stance in sourcing candidates for tough engineering vacancies by making use of sourcing platforms, communities, referrals, and market research
• Collaborate with hiring managers to gain a clear picture of their needs, tactfully challenge assumptions where suitable, and propose the most effective route to hire
• Facilitate interviews and evaluate candidates on their technical foundation, motivation, communication skills, and cultural fit
• Maintain a strong candidate experience by making every step of the process fast, clear, and respectful
• Analyze recruitment metrics to spot bottlenecks, boost conversion rates, and progressively improve the overall hiring process
• Explore new methods including AI-driven recruiting tools, automation, and creative sourcing techniques to move faster and strengthen candidate engagement
• Stay current on technology trends, movements in the talent market, and the activities of competitors

• A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience covering software engineering and technical positions within an international environment
• Proven track record of connecting with elusive technical candidates through multiple channels
• Working awareness of modern tech stacks such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, DevOps, Cloud, QA, Data, and related areas
• Strong interview skills, with the ability to assess candidates beyond what their CV shows
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and applying data and market insights to guide hiring decisions
• Practical experience with ATS platforms and structured hiring workflows
• Hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar to improve sourcing, outreach, research, or day-to-day productivity
• Analytical thinking with confidence in reading metrics and converting them into practical improvements
• English at B2 level or higher, with strong communication abilities in both writing and speech
