Senior Frontend Developer (all genders)

Contabo GmbH is looking for two Senior Frontend Developers to build a new product line. The role involves creating and maintaining the customer-facing GUI and cloud-native tools like Terraform and CLIs, working closely with API teams and UX designers. The position is remote-first with options for hybrid or on-site work within Germany.

• Develop and maintain the customer-facing GUI of Contabo's new product line.
• Contribute to cloud-native open source tools like Terraform and CLIs.
• Build on top of internal APIs and collaborate closely with UX designers.
• Standardize APIs and shape product design with integration to design frameworks.

• Strong TypeScript 5.9 production experience, using the type system to prevent bugs
• Deep experience with Svelte 5 including client-side routing (svelte5-router) or a comparable modern reactive framework
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with Docker, Webpack 5, and PostCSS for containerized builds and frontend tooling
• Experience with Svelte Material UI (SMUI) or comparable component library
• Experience with E2E testing using Playwright and/or Cypress
• Experience with Keycloak.js or comparable SSO/OAuth implementation
• Fluent English skills (German language skills are a plus)
