Data engineer (in opleiding)

As a Data Engineer in training, you will design and build data pipelines and establish ETL processes to develop robust data platforms. You will work within a structured program and progress towards becoming a full-fledged Data Engineer, applying your skills in a practical setting.

• Following a learning path towards Data Engineer and applying it in your assignment.
• Designing and building data pipelines (batch and/or realtime) and establishing ETL processes.
• Working collaboratively to design and build a data platform within a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Modeling data and delivering datasets ready for reporting and analysis.
• Ensuring quality through testing, monitoring, and clear documentation.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or BI developer.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, (Technical) Business Administration, (Applied) Mathematics, Econometrics, or similar.
• Strong foundation in Power BI and Python and/or SQL.
• Experience with data modeling within a cloud (Microsoft Azure) environment is a plus.
• Some experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Spark, dbt, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Tests & Monitoring, and/or Git workflows is a strong plus.

• Salary between €3,800 and €5,000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week.
