Frontend Engineer Intern

Alpine Business Consulting is hiring a Frontend Engineer Intern to build clear, functional interfaces for financial and operational data. This fully remote paid internship contributes to a project for a major European logistics firm, working under senior engineers to write professional enterprise code.

• Writing clean and maintainable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build user interface components
• Assisting with the configuration of dashboards and reporting views for our client in the logistics sector
• Creating technical documentation that explains how frontend components are structured and how they can be modified
• Participating in remote team meetings to discuss project progress and troubleshoot technical hurdles
• Testing new features to ensure they work correctly across different browsers and screen sizes
• Learning how to integrate frontend interfaces with enterprise data sources and APIs
• Helping prepare training materials and configuration guides that will be part of the final client handover
• Collaborating with senior consultants to ensure the visual representation of data matches the business requirements

• Basic familiarity with JavaScript and web development fundamentals gained through studies or personal projects
• A working knowledge of at least one frontend library or framework, such as React, Vue, or Angular
• The ability to write clear and concise documentation for the code you produce
• A preference for simple and functional design over complex or overly decorative interfaces
• Strong communication skills, which are essential for staying aligned in a fully remote work environment
• An interest in learning about enterprise performance management and how large companies track their financial health
