JavaScript Engineer (React and/or Node.js)

FocusReactive is a consultancy specializing in JavaScript (React/Node.js) applications, building high-efficiency tech teams for scale-up businesses. This role involves integrating with client teams, providing technical leadership, and contributing to open source software.

• Integrate with client teams in person or remotely to provide project leadership and technical expertise
• Contribute to community-leading open source software
• Polish presentation skills at tech events
• Drive key decision-making in product delivery and design process

• 4+ years experience in professional JavaScript development
• 2+ years experience working with production React applications
• Demonstrable ability to learn quickly
• Experience integrating with cloud services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL
• Proficiency in front-end markup and styling
• Proficiency in different software testing strategies
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Solid spoken and written English skills
