Sr. Software Engineer

This position is for experienced Sr. C++ Engineers to develop algorithms for automated treatment planning software for Invisalign products. The role involves end-to-end software development in C++ within a regulated environment.

• Work in an agile team of developers and SQAs, collaborate with other development teams
• Interact with clinical experts, project managers, and product owners to analyze specifications and formalize requirements
• Research and develop new features, create prototypes and proofs of concept
• Participate in architectural design, project planning, sizing, and code/design reviews
• Investigate and implement bug fixes, identify opportunities for code refactoring and performance improvements
• Write high-quality idiomatic C++17 code with full test coverage
• Write technical documentation for newly implemented functionality
• Follow architectural, quality, and regulatory guidelines for medical device software development
• Demonstrate technical leadership, assist and mentor other developers
• Identify/mitigate risks and participate in production monitoring and support

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise/commercial software development
• 5+ years of practical experience with modern C++ (C++17 and above)
• Solid foundation in mathematics, especially linear algebra and geometry
• Strong proficiency in C++ and STL
• Knowledge of Python
• Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio, git, and unit testing framework
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., Banking, Financial, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Aerospace)
