Software Developer Simulation (d/f/m)

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Software Developer to develop high-fidelity simulations for aircraft, supporting the entire development life cycle with C++ and occasionally Python or Ada.

• Design the architecture of software models and components for new simulator functionality
• Develop simulation models (C++) representing aircraft equipment and sub-/systems
• Create and perform unit tests of simulation models and modules (C++ / Python)
• Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators)
• Perform integration and acceptance testing

• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience required
• Extensive experience in software architecture, design and development
• Excellent C++ skills
• Other programming languages / Frameworks are welcome (Qt / QML, Ada, Python...)
• English negotiation level
• Experience with Tornado or Eurofighter Avionics would be beneficial
