Mid-Level Fullstack Software Engineer - Enpal Financial Services (f/m/x)

Enpal is a green unicorn company focused on solar energy, aiming to provide integrated decentralized energy solutions. This role is for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join Enpal Financial Services (fintech arm) to build and scale web applications supporting financing for solar systems, heat pumps, batteries, and EV infrastructure.

• Build and scale web applications powering financing solutions for solar systems, heat pumps, batteries, and EV infrastructure
• Work as a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer in a true 50/50 frontend and backend role in a hybrid setup (Berlin, Stadtmitte)
• Own end-to-end feature development, from UI to backend services and data models
• Build and maintain frontend applications with React + TypeScript
• Design, implement, and scale backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS is a plus)
• Work with AWS infrastructure and PostgreSQL to support scalable fintech products
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering in a fast-paced environment

• Solid production experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• A strong full-stack mindset and genuine interest in both frontend and backend development (50/50 scope)
• Experience building and maintaining APIs, services, and data-driven backend systems
• Experience with NestJS (or similar backend frameworks) is a plus
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable systems across the entire stack
• Strong product thinking and ownership mindset
• Experience using AI tools to support software development
• High engineering standards, curiosity, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
