Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Web Core)

Greenlight is a family fintech company seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack for the Web Core team to build and evolve foundational systems for web experiences, providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.

• Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX
• Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform
• Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution
• Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and championing system reliability, performance, and observability

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
• Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin
• Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD
• Preferred: Experience with A/B testing/experimentation and modern MarTech tools (Segment, Optimizely, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
