Backend Engineer - Core Experience

Backend Engineer to join Markets Platform Team, focusing on customer onboarding and responsible gaming features. Work on a multi-brand gaming platform built on microservices using Java and Kotlin.

• Developing a multi-brand gaming platform called Rhino, built on 230+ microservices
• Driving continuous improvement in the player onboarding process and responsible gaming solutions
• Writing extensive tests (units, e2e, integration) and updating documentation
• Participating in architectural discussions and suggesting ideas for technical improvements
• Collaborating with Product Managers and other stakeholders
• Working closely with Backend Engineers, QA Engineers and TA Engineers

• Min. 3 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework, or similar experience in Object Oriented Languages (C#, C++, Python, PHP) and willing to learn Java
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with microservice architectures
• Nice to have: Experience with Kotlin, Git, Kafka, Jenkins
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery
• Nice to have: Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Postman
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Automated Testing
• Nice to have: Experience with telemetry and monitoring
