Technical SEO Manager | f/m/d

ERGO Technology & Services S.A., part of Munich Re and ERGO Group, provides integrated IT and business services. This role involves supporting technical SEO audits, optimizing website architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve search visibility and performance.

• Supporting technical audits of enterprise websites and portals to ensure crawlability, indexation, and performance
• Assisting in maintaining SEO/GEO standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization
• Monitoring technical issues, assessing their impact, and supporting remediation efforts
• Optimizing website architecture, internal linking, and content for search engines and AI crawlers, including managing robots.txt and meta directives
• Evaluating new technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for their impact on search visibility
• Implementing structured data and optimizing sitemaps, navigation, and URL structures in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Improving Core Web Vitals and overall page performance with development teams
• Supporting agile processes, including translating requirements into user stories, coordinating backlogs, and assisting with QA/testing
• Analyzing log files and crawl data to identify opportunities for improving crawl budget and indexation

• Fluency in English (C1)
• 4+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, ideally in financial services or insurance
• Very good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with JS-heavy frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
• Knowledge of technical SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Botify) and Google Search Console
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
