Full-Stack Engineer | $42/hr Remote

Full-Stack Engineer focusing on JSON Schema development for PDF data extraction and API contract design. Remote contract role with $40-42/hour.

• Review and analyze complex PDF documents to identify relevant data fields for extraction.
• Design and implement deeply nested JSON schemas from scratch, adhering to data modeling best practices.
• Define field types, naming conventions, and hierarchical structures to accurately model nested and repeated information.
• Embed granular validation logic to ensure data integrity, including sum checks and null-testing.
• Collaborate with API Gateway teams to design, document, and enforce API contracts using JSON Schema standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver clear, actionable schema documentation.

• Have proven experience designing complex JSON schemas, including objects within arrays and multilevel nesting.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in JSON, schema design, and data validation methodologies.
• Have the ability to interpret raw documents and architect robust information models from scratch.
• Possess a deep understanding of required vs. optional fields, data types, field descriptions, and validation rules.
• Have hands-on experience with API Gateway management and defining secure API contracts.
