Senior Software Engineer I (Full Stack, Payments)

Senior Software Engineer role for a restaurant technology company building POS and AI-powered tools. The role involves full-stack development, AI integration, and tech leadership for payment systems.

• Take extreme ownership of features and fixes regardless of where the problem sits in the stack
• Navigate real complexity in massive systems and solve high-stakes puzzles
• Be a 'whatever it takes' engineer - jump in across frontend, backend, and infra as needed
• Treat AI as a teammate to solve 'impossible' problems
• Drive the team forward by providing technical leadership and addressing tech debt

• At least 5 to 7 years building software in high-traffic production environments
• Highly proficient in Golang (ideally also PHP)
• AI fluency - integrated AI into workflow for better code and debugging
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Solid command of English (min. B2)
• Full-stack flexibility with React or JavaScript
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes
• Experience with payment gateways, ledger systems, transaction routing, or PCI compliance
