Full Stack Engineer (m/w/d) / 13327 / Institut für künstliche Intelligenz in der Medizin

Full Stack Engineer role at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. Responsible for developing a scalable platform from an existing prototype, including dictation, telephone integration, and translation features. Collaboration with clinical staff and research to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Definition of KPIs
• Analysis of database schemas
• Further development of an existing successful prototype (including dictation function, telephone integration and translation) into a scalable, stable platform
• Development and maintenance of features across the entire stack – from frontend to local AI infrastructure
• Close collaboration with clinical staff and research to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Active participation in architecture and direction decisions, writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participation in code reviews

• Master or Diploma degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Full-Stack development
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (preferably shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS)
• Practical experience with Node.js backend frameworks (Express, Hono etc.)
• Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Experience with (or great interest in) on-premise infrastructures, self-hosted AI models and object stores (e.g. S3)
• Optional: knowledge of Tauri
