System Architect (m/w/d)

System Architect responsible for overall technical architecture in customer projects, acting as central point of contact for the project team and customers.

• Responsible in customer projects for the overall architectures across the technologies used, developed with system engineers
• Elicitation and refinement of user requirements with customers
• Development of solution concepts and creation of system architectures and interface specifications
• Understand the overall solution and evaluate and explain the emerging architectures
• Act as central point of contact for the project team, including system engineers, system administrators and experts
• Serve as technical contact for customers

• Degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering) or equivalent education
• Several years of professional experience in system engineering
• Proven experience in design and operation of complex IT infrastructures, network systems
• Routine handling of complex Linux and Windows networks
• Proven practical experience in modeling system landscapes with Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Experience with Cisco hardware, firewall systems, automation tools
• Hands-on experience in routing & switching
• Ability to communicate complex relationships to stakeholders
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, also in a team
• Fluent German and very good English skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
