Telemetry / Observability Engineer with Grafana

DCG is hiring a Telemetry / Observability Engineer with Grafana in Warsaw. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining observability solutions and data flows, configuring monitoring data sources, and improving Grafana dashboards. Strong knowledge of observability fundamentals and Infrastructure as Code is required.

• Actively participate in team planning sessions, suggesting improvements and bringing new ideas
• Cooperate closely with technical experts and various stakeholders across the organization
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of observability solutions and data flows
• Configure and manage data sources used for monitoring and reporting purposes
• Design and improve Grafana dashboards, including panels, rows, variables, templating, and transformations
• Participate in implementation work and troubleshoot technical issues within your area of responsibility
• Contribute to automation and provisioning practices using code-based approaches
• Ensure that dashboards and monitoring solutions are clear, reliable, and aligned with user needs

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in application development, engineering, observability, monitoring, or a similar technical role
• Strong understanding of observability fundamentals, including metrics, logs, and traces
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices
• Experience with data source configuration from tools such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, or AppDynamics
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Grafana Alerting
• Experience in dashboard design, including panels, rows, variables/templating, and transformations
• Knowledge of provisioning as code / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket
• Strong JSON proficiency
• Scripting skills with Bash and/or Python
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Application development or engineering experience
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field
• Fluent English
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, PowerBI, experience working in international projects or agile teams
