Working Student - Software Engineering (f/m/x) · TypeScript (NestJS or React)

OneTutor is an AI-powered tutoring platform spun off from TUM, serving over 35,000 active users. They are looking for a Working Student in Software Engineering to join a small team and contribute to full-stack development with TypeScript, NestJS, or React.

• Take ownership of small, well-scoped projects in backend or frontend
• Backend: build and extend APIs, model data, work with NestJS/TypeScript
• Frontend: craft React components, integrate with backend services, improve user experience
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers on design, testing, and feature development
• Participate in code reviews and occasional pair programming sessions
• Contribute 15–20 hours per week flexibly around university schedule

• Master's student or advanced Bachelor's student in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field at a Munich university
• Some hands-on experience in at least one of: NestJS + TypeScript (REST or GraphQL, API design), React + TypeScript (hooks, component architecture)
• Good communication in English or German
• Collaborative mindset and comfortable asking for help
