Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Sparrow, a fintech company building a CRM platform for credit unions. The role involves full-stack development with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS, working closely with a small engineering team.

• Create seamless, user-friendly interfaces using TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling.
• Design and implement scalable, secure backend APIs and services using Express and OpenSearch.
• Design and build cloud-based services leveraging AWS infrastructure.
• Be involved in planning discussions to deliver feature sets that balance business priorities, user experience, and long-term technical sustainability.
• Actively contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Own features from concept through delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable frontend and backend code.
• Help drive consistency and best practices across multiple codebases and development workflows.

• 5+ years of professional experience building and operating production software across the stack
• Strong experience in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Led, owned, and shipped practical features that solve real problems for real end users
• Product-oriented mindset
• Will challenge assumptions thoughtfully
