Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer

Outro Health is a mission-driven virtual care startup helping people safely taper off antidepressants. Join as engineer #2 to build patient-facing React Native apps, AI-driven operations, and TypeScript clinical tools.

• Develop and scale clinical products, including custom clinician tools and AI agents that assist in monitoring patient responses to medication changes
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of patient-facing features across web and React Native mobile platforms, from initial design through deployment and clinical iteration
• Build robust integrations with insurance and data platforms to streamline billing and enable research partnerships with leading universities and health systems

• 3+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer with deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js (Next.js experience is a plus)
• Proven ability to ship products independently and turn ambiguous clinical workflows into clear software models, with a strong focus on data modeling and domain boundaries
• Systems-minded builder who is excited about leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and has an interest in making complex healthcare systems intuitive for patients
