Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer position at First Horizon Bank in Memphis, TN. Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and services, focusing on Internet Banking. Requires expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and cloud technologies.

• Plan, design, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications and services
• Lead and collaborate with team of developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff
• Develop, maintain, and support Internet Banking applications
• Bring technical expertise and industry best practices to the development team
• Work independently and as part of a team to develop features and capabilities and resolve issues or defects

• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills and experience with the web technology stack
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, TSS, Node.js
• Expertise in React, TailwindCSS, NextJS or similar frameworks
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or Cyprus
• Expertise with responsive and mobile design, Cross browser development, and use of APIs
• Experience in Web services including SOAP and REST
• Advanced knowledge of source control and change control practices
• Experience with build automation and deployment tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience deploying applications in a containerized, cloud environment (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Development experience with web applications deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments
• Knowledge of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures is a plus
• Dynatrace expertise would be a bonus
• Financial Services experience a plus
