React JavaScript Developer

Proactive Appointments is seeking a highly skilled React JavaScript Developer to join a dynamic team on a permanent, remote basis with occasional meet-ups in London. The role focuses on developing AI-powered software solutions leveraging workflow automation and AI orchestration to create scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable React web applications integrated with AI and workflow automation features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver innovative solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support application functionalities.
• Embed third-party SDKs into web applications, ensuring seamless workflow integration and custom styling.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Implement security measures and performance enhancements to ensure robust and efficient applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to React, AI, and cloud services.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a React JavaScript Developer, with proficiency in Node.js and ES6+ features.
• Proven experience working with workflow automation, AI orchestration, or large language model (LLM)-based application development.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, particularly using AWS SQS and Kafka.
• Experience in integrating and managing RESTful APIs and microservices within complex web applications.
• Hands-on experience embedding third-party SDKs into web applications, including custom styling and workflow integration.
• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, RDS, and related services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and containerization tools like Docker.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture design.
