Product Engineer

Wordsmith is building the legal operations platform for in-house teams. The Product Engineer will build features end-to-end across frontend and backend, working closely with design, product, and legal engineers to ship AI-native workflows.

• Own features end to end across frontend and backend
• Build AI-native workflows using LLMs and structured data
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and legal engineering
• Ship quickly, learn from users, and iterate
• Contribute to architecture, tooling, and engineering practices
• Help define how we use AI across the product

• 4+ years building high-quality web products
• Strong experience with modern frontend tools (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
• Backend experience (Python, Node, AWS or similar)
• Strong product instincts — you care about UX, clarity, and outcomes
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving systems
• Interest in AI and how it changes how software is built
