Software Developer, In-Play

• Developing high-quality scalable solutions on Linux and Cloud platforms
• Enhancing product offering with innovative new features
• Developing and maintaining features for real-time betting opportunities
• Implementing new features onto the existing site
• Supporting and enhancing existing code base
• Maintaining clean coding practices
• Identifying technical areas of improvement
• Supporting Product Owners as required
• Supporting the testing team during testing phases of projects
• Contributing to solution proposals
• Creating work effort estimates

• Experience with Golang or any related backend technology such as C#, .Net, Java, C++ or C.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to people across different areas of the Business.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
• Familiarity of Typescript, JavaScript, SQL, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Exposure working in an environment with high volumes of transactions.
• Accustomed to Scrum or other agile software development methodologies.
• Understanding of the development of automation and developer tooling such as Continuous Build and CI systems.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Working knowledge of AI.
