Software Engineer

In this role, as a Staff Engineer, you will influence the architecture of complex platforms and dive into algorithmic challenges. You'll work within a specialized software company focused on making complex infrastructural data accessible and effective, collaborating with experienced senior developers in a flat organization without political pressures.

• Dive into complex algorithmic and data structure challenges
• Unravel architectural knots and design solutions
• Engage in pair programming with senior developers and challenge existing choices
• Collaborate with domain experts from ProRail or Schiphol
• Conduct code reviews, manage test strategies and initiate continuous improvements

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Developer
• Strong skills in PHP (OOP, without dependency on frameworks like Laravel)
• Proven algorithmic thinking and designing scalable solutions
• Comfortable in architectural discussions and making technical choices (and justifying them)
• Familiarity with Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design, and Dependency Injection
• Ability to write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Coaching ability within teams, without needing a 'lead' label
• Experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks is a plus

• Salary up to €90,000 based on experience and impact
