Software Engineer (trading)

Full Stack Engineer role at an Amsterdam based energy trading and optimization company. You'll join a 4 person software team building a new internal trading platform that brings together algorithmic models for traders. The role involves both backend and frontend work with Python, TypeScript, and React.

• Move between backend and frontend depending on what's needed
• Work on small improvements and new features
• Build the new internal trading platform bringing together algorithmic models
• Own the frontend and the APIs surrounding these models

• 2 to 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong Python and React skills
• Interest in working across both frontend and backend
• Comfort picking up trading business logic and translating it into technical solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS (or Azure), and an interest in the deployment side of things
