Senior Software Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a Haystack partner to design and develop R-Shiny and React applications, create dashboards, and optimize frontend architecture.

• Design and develop R-Shiny and React applications
• Conceptualize and implement frontends in Shiny and React
• Create dashboards and data visualizations
• Continuously develop and optimize software interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Optimize frontend architecture for performance, security, and user experience
• Evaluate and introduce suitable R and JS libraries, and expand our React-Component Library
• Document, maintain, and perform quality checks on code

• Relevant professional training in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, or information technology
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of R and R-Shiny
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of React, experience with TypeScript and Vite
• Experience with Figma and implementing design systems
• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes
• Strong German and English communication skills
