System Engineer (m/w/d)

System Engineer responsible for planning, building, and operating modern IT infrastructures (on-premises, hybrid, cloud). Tasks include administration of server, network, and storage systems, automation using Ansible/Terraform, and ensuring system availability and security.

• Planning, building, and operating modern IT infrastructures (on-premises, hybrid, or cloud-based)
• Administration and continuous development of server, network, and storage systems
• Automation of operational processes using scripting or tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Ensuring system availability, performance, and IT security
• Supporting the introduction of new technologies and implementation of infrastructure projects
• Analysis and troubleshooting in the context of 2nd and 3rd level support
• Close collaboration with IT architects, developers, and project teams in agile environments

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, IT training, or comparable qualification
• Experience in system administration of Windows and/or Linux-based IT environments
• Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), network technologies, and IT security
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Very good German and good English skills
• Ideally experience with monitoring solutions, backup strategies, and ITIL-based processes
