Front-End Developer

The team at International Personal Finance Plc builds and evolves API integrations with external brokers, focusing on modern customer journeys. The front-end developer will build reusable React components, collaborate with backend engineers, and ensure performance and accessibility.

• Build reusable, high-quality React + TypeScript components used in the plugin and internal tools.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate with payment and financial APIs.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness of the plugin on partners’ websites.
• Contribute to code quality via testing, code reviews, and clean architecture.
• Work in Scrum methodology with two-week sprints using Atlassian tools.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to clarify requirements.
• Stay self-motivated to learn and share new knowledge with the team.

• Practical experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, Next.js.
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Experience with Scrum methodology and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Initiative and independence in problem-solving.
• A mindset open to experimentation and proposing innovative solutions.
• Node.js (for tooling, simple backend tasks, or BFF patterns) – nice-to-have.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity or similar) – nice-to-have.
• Experience with Postman or similar tools – nice-to-have.
• Experience building embeddable widgets/plugins or SDKs for partners – nice-to-have.
• Understanding of security and compliance aspects in financial products – nice-to-have.
