AI Data Engineer (m/f/d)

SAP is seeking an AI Data Engineer to collect and analyze usage and performance metrics for cloud products like Analytics Cloud and Data Sphere. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, building ML models, and collaborating with engineering and product teams.

• Data-Driven Product Improvement: Analyze usage patterns, performance bottlenecks, and feature adoption to guide product roadmaps and engineering priorities.
• Customer Insights: Develop models and dashboards that surface actionable insights for customers, enabling them to maximize the value of our platform.
• Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics: Build and deploy ML models to forecast usage trends, detect anomalies, and recommend optimizations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering to instrument data collection, and with product teams to translate insights into features.
• Scalable Data Solutions: Design and implement robust pipelines, ETL processes, and data architectures to support real-time analytics.

• University degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or related areas
• Analytical skills, ability to work on complex problems and to do the conceptual work
• Good programming skills
• Strong background in statistical analysis
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding
• Knowledge and experience with SAP HANA is preferable
