Strong Junior Automation QA Engineer

Bitmedia Labs is an international product company in game development and digital advertising. They are looking for a Strong Junior Automation QA Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for web applications. The role offers remote work, competitive compensation, and growth opportunities.

• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Design, implement, and execute automated test cases to verify functionality of web applications
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects found during testing
• Continuously improve automation test cases

• At least 2 year of hands-on experience in test automation for web-based applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript (variables, functions, async/await, promises, ES6+ syntax)
• Practical experience with Playwright
• Strong knowledge of stack of web technologies like HTTP, JSON, REST
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals
• Understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern and ability to structure test code accordingly
• Experience with Git (clone, commit, push, pull, branching)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Basic knowledge of writing reliable locators (CSS selectors, XPath basics)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility
