Front-End Engineer (React, Typescript) — Helpware

Our client is an early-stage company building a comprehensive AI platform for the legal industry. We're hiring a Front-End Engineer to build and polish interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Build and ship user-facing features end to end in React and TypeScript.
• Translate designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, polished UI.
• Work with backend and AI engineers to integrate APIs and real-time data (e.g., live transcription).
• Obsess over performance, reliability, and detail — this is software attorneys trust with privileged work.
• Help shape a clean, maintainable frontend codebase and set conventions as we scale.

• 5 years building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Strong CSS/layout skills and an eye for clean, professional UI.
• Solid fundamentals: state management, component architecture, testing, and Git workflows.
• Fluent with AI tools — you actively use them to improve your workflow and ship higher-quality work faster
• Self-direction and clear communication.
• Experience with security- or privacy-sensitive products, or regulated industries.
• Interest in legal tech, AI/LLM products, or building for expert users.

• Fully remote, international
• Async-friendly with some overlap for collaboration
