Frontend Engineer

The role focuses on building performant, accessible web interfaces that ship to production weekly — React components, design system contributions, and client-side architecture that scales across a product used by hundreds of thousands of users. You will work in close partnership with backend engineers, product designers, and PMs to translate product requirements into fast, resilient frontend experiences.

• Build and maintain production user interfaces in TypeScript and React, shipping features end-to-end from spec to deployed code
• Architect frontend state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query) for complex, data-heavy application views
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, owning client-side data fetching, caching, and error-handling patterns
• Optimize application performance: bundle analysis, code splitting, lazy loading, and maintaining strong Core Web Vitals scores
• Contribute to and extend a shared component library and design system used across multiple product teams
• Write comprehensive tests using Jest and React Testing Library or Playwright, and participate in rigorous code reviews
• Collaborate with designers in Figma to ensure pixel-accurate, accessible implementations meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards

• 3–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React (hooks, context, suspense patterns), and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS Modules, or styled-components)
• Hands-on experience with build tooling and bundlers: Vite, Webpack, or Turbopack
• Solid grasp of browser fundamentals: rendering pipelines, event loops, caching, and network behavior
• Track record of improving measurable performance or conversion metrics on user-facing products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering, WebSockets/realtime UIs, or Storybook-driven component workflows
