Intermediate Back-End Developer

eduki is a platform for teachers to share teaching materials. They are hiring an Intermediate Back-End Developer to develop and maintain microservices using PHP. The role is remote, full-time, with a salary range of $3,057-$3,881 per month.

• Microservices Development: You develop and maintain Microservices using PHP, implementing well-defined features and functionalities within existing patterns.
• Integration and Configuration: You configure and integrate Microservices into our existing infrastructure, with support from senior engineers on more complex integrations.
• Teamwork: You participate in architecture discussions, contributing ideas and asking questions, as part of a diverse, international team.

• You have experience working with Microservices. Maintaining existing ones, not necessarily building new ones from scratch.
• You have working knowledge of PHP 8+, Docker, and SQL; familiarity with Kubernetes is a bonus.
• You’re reliable and can work with a good degree of independence, while comfortable asking for guidance when needed.
• You feel comfortable communicating in English and working in an international team
• Due to legal restrictions, we can only hire candidates living in Ukraine. Additionally, you’ll need to be registered as sole proprietor (FOP).
