Hybris Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Hybris Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. As a Hybris Engineer, you will work on a modern solution for our existing client, collaborating with a cross-functional development team. You will take ownership of source code, perform code reviews, and contribute to technical go-live checklists.

• Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment delivering incremental software with high quality
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Architects, and other Developers to ensure the right solutions are built on time
• Take ownership of source code produced, making sure it follows Ciklum and SAP best practices
• Performs Code reviews for the pull requests raised by Developers
• Keep current with the latest SAP Commerce, Java, and web technologies
• Contribute to technical go-live checklists; Provide an impact analysis for implemented features
• Proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner

• Knowledge and experience in Java 8 or higher (more than 3 years)
• Strong knowledge of microservices
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Hybris (more than 2 years)
• Experience writing unit tests using Junit, Mockito and hybris integration testing
• Knowledge in various approaches for 3rd party integration with Hybris
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce ORM, WCMS, and core concepts
• Knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory: Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID, TDD), Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL), Code testing practices, Algorithms, Data structures, Architectural, Enterprise and Design Patterns, Security patterns, Reverse engineering resistance, Common attacks types (OWASP)
• Basic knowledge of API and web service architecture (OpenAPI, REST, SOAP)
• Practical commercial experience with: Spring (Spring DI and Spring MVC is a must), RDBMS (e.g MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle), Web Servers, Version control systems (GIT)
• Foundational theoretical understanding in: Key-value storages (e.g. Redis, Memcached), Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Active MQ, AWS SQS, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub), Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure), Docker, Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)
• Experience with: Troubleshooting and debugging applications, Agile software processes and technologies, Code Review process, Refactoring process
• Desirable: Certifications on SAP Hybris or AWS, Experience working as part of big (100+ FTE) distributed teams
