Software Development Engineer SE Level 1

KLM Component Services is looking for a Software Development Engineer focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software for testing aircraft components. The role involves integrating hardware and software, ensuring compliance with aviation standards, and working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Developing and maintaining embedded and non-embedded control software for testing equipment.
• Integrating sensors, actuators, and data processing for accurate measurement and response in test benches.
• Implementing cybersecurity measures and ensuring software compliance with aviation standards like EASA Part IS and NIS2.
• Testing, validating, and documenting software to guarantee reliability and traceability.
• Designing monitoring and analysis functionalities for real-time access to component maintenance data and test equipment performance.
• Integrating Operational Technology with Information Technology.
• Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and IT specialists for optimal system alignment.
• Contributing to future developments such as IoT integration, AI, digital twins, and cloud platforms.

• A completed education in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW or similar languages.
• Experience with automated testing equipment.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, specifically regarding cybersecurity.
• Affinity for aviation technology and maintenance processes.

• A gross salary between €4.252,77 and €6.075,38 per month.
