Senior Software Engineer - Java, Ruby (x/f/m)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you're going to be part of a Berlin-based international team focused on improving the performance, features, and design of our core product for healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for building a critical service from the ground up leveraging modern technologies.

• Building a critical service from a monolithic application leveraging modern event driven, distributed technologies
• Improving user experience through new features and design updates
• Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items
• Helping keep the bug backlog small
• Contributing to establishing technical vision and roadmap for the next quarters
• Bringing expertise to continuously improve workflows

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience
• Experience working on distributed systems at large scale
• Hands-on experience with Ruby and Kotlin
• Understanding of code testing and refactoring
• Proven experience developing efficient, maintainable and secure products
• Familiarity with various technologies (Postgres, Redis, Typescript, Ruby, Java, Kotlin, Kafka)
